Opel Adam R2 Rally Car Concept To Be Unveiled At Geneva 2013 Posted: 16 Feb 2013 03:37 AM PST Chrises Cars - Opel Adam R2 Rally Car Concept To Be Unveiled At Geneva 2013 Opel has recently announced that the Opel Adam R2 Rally car concept will be unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. This car is aimed at the FIA R2 groups, design-based Adam Cup, has been described as “beautiful, classic, eye-catching”. This new Opel Adam R2 Rally Car is fetaures an OPC body kit, including a quick release hood, a roof-mounted scoop and lightweight racing wheels, a sport-tuned suspension (with asphalt and gravel settings) and Brembo brakes. The stripped out interior has Sparco racing seats, a roll cage and a digital instrument cluster. The cabin also features an electric fire extinguisher and a MONIT trip computer. For power, the Opel Adam R2 Rally Car is equipped with a 1.6-liter EcoTec engine, that produces a maximum power of 185 horsepower and peak torque of 190 Nm, with a 5-speed sequential gearbox, front-wheel drive with limited slip differential. By the end of 2013, the official version of the Opel Adam R2 Rally Car will be participating in international rally events.
