So, Studdly has got a question for you riders out there. Do you like Mad Ass bikes? Yes, that's right you've read correctly I said Mad Ass bikes. I happened to be coming home one night from a grueling kick boxing session, and as I crawled closer to my front steps I see the coolest lil' bicycle type ride I've ever seen.
The glimmering bike from the street lights drew me closer to it and then I see the German design team's 2011 Sachs Mad Ass 125. Now first off, I'd like to say that it seems as if the popularity of smaller more economical motorcycles is on the rise, and that the creation of more powerful bikes has come to a steady stall. With this in mind, it makes it easier to grasp the idea that just about anybody can fulfill their dreams to ride and this is proving to be a positive incentive.
This Mad Ass bike is equipped with most everything that the bigger bikes have. When you first look at it, you see how impressive it looks with its thin, sturdy, and tubular frame, adding to the bike's total weight at about 210 pounds. The gas tank is the actual frame and holds 1.3 gallons of gas with a pint on reserve; getting you about 85mpg. It has a baby dashboard that puts a jokingly smile on the face and naturally, it just makes you want to hop on and give her a quick ride.
The Mad Ass has a single cylinder, 4-stroke air cooled engine that is best used to power you through the busy streets of the city. And as you can see from the pictures, the 260mm front disc brakes and 210mm rear disc brakes add to the security of it. The under seat baby exhaust adds to the cool factor of this upgraded bicycle, not to mention adding some warmth to you and your passenger on a starry night ride. Oh, and did I mention the headlights add a charming touch to its rebellious childlike looks? Overall, this thing will have people wondering where they can get one Just to have a little fun. I almost picked the thing up and ran off with it just so I could play with it myself once I saw it!
