Hey, what’s going on guys? Is it July already? Time sure does fly! Anyways, this here, is the world’s first picture of the new Husqvarna Nuda 900R, taken at the official unveiling in Germany yesterday. And yes, it's called the Nuda.

It's powered by a heavily worked-on version of BMW's 800cc parallel twin motor that is apparently good for over 100bhp and 73lbft (100Nm) of torque.

Dry weight is claimed to be a featherweight 175kg.

There has been no explanation of the name so far, apart from the nude/naked link. The first Nuda was a Suzuki concept bike powered by a GSX-R750 engine with 2 wheel drive. It appeared in 1986 but it wasn't a naked, and we have no idea why it was called Nuda.
