Coffee Powered Car Breaks World Speed Record Posted: 04 Oct 2011 08:06 AM PDT Martin Bacon and his team of Teesdale Conservation Volunteers from Durham, England, have developed a way to create fuel from used coffee grains. The team converted an old Rover SD1 to run on the fuel and after a few test runs Martin and his team managed to break the World Land Speed Record for a car powered by organic waste.
