To start things off, two fan favorite GT teams had the worst of luck. During morning warm up, the no17 Falken Tire Porsche 911 GT3 RSR lost its engine. The team put in an amazing stint and had the new 4.0L six-cylinder engine bolted in, tires on and out to pit lane for the start.
