Posted: 21 Jul 2012 04:56 AM PDT Our colleague Christian Gebhardt, Tester and director of Sport Auto, has just published a new video of the Alpina B6 Biturbo in us clear doubts if it is faster than the M6. As you can see, the speedometer indicates 334 km/h, while Gebhardt GPS indicates a negligible nothing 328 km/h. It is a speed far exceeding that credited the new M6 equipped with the optional M Driver’s package, but is also a speed exceeding that announces the own Alpine. Many think that the B6 is n car based on the M6, but nothing further from reality. Mechanical level, the Biturbo B6 differs significantly from the M6. And is that despite the excellent relations between Alpina and BMW, both models do not have nothing to do, except at the base which is a 650i chipset (4.4 V8 biturbo). The V8 has now forged Mahle Pistons, enhanced cooling, as well as an automatic change of 8 speeds with titanium Akrapovic exhausts and own electronic management. |
