Leon Haslam Strips Down Posted: 28 Jul 2012 10:00 PM PDT |
Hi guys, the World Superbike's next stop is Silverstone, and BMW Motorrad's resident Brit was willing enough to bear all to help promote WSBK's stop at his home round.
Stripping his leathers down to his waist, Leon Haslam got his torso and arms painted by by double World Body Painting Champion Carolyn Roper. Taking three hours to complete the effect, Roper's work is pretty phenomenal, as was Leon's patience.

Stefan Bradl Rides Through San Francisco Posted: 27 Jul 2012 10:00 PM PDT |
What’s up people? This weekend, MotoGP, the premier motorcycle racing series in the world, will descend upon Monterey, California, for the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix.
But before all the action starts at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, MotoGP racer Stefan Bradl of Germany brought his LCR Honda race bike to San Francisco to warm up for the upcoming event. Bradl, a rookie in MotoGP, is looking forward to tackling “The Corkscrew,” a notoriously difficult twisting, off-camber downhill section at Laguna Seca, for the first time. To prepare, he took his motorcycle down the crookedest street in the U.S. – Lombard Street in the Russian Hill area of San Francisco.

Hey guys, Jon here again. For those of you who didn’t meet Nicky at the D Store in the city a couple of days ago, Ducati Corse has made it official that Nicky Hayden will be riding in the factory Ducati team next season. Just kidding, Nicky didn’t let anything slip that night.
The signing of Hayden signals that Ducati Corse has figured out where Rossi is headed for the next season, though depending who you ask that either means a defection to the factory Yamaha team or him staying put. Only time will tell I guess.
