Chrises Cars - Skoda gave the first official teaser video of its third-generation Octavia 2013

Very unusual pairing from Autocar here: a mid-engined RWD supercar versus a 4WD rally car. The Noble M600 is powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbo Volvo V8 producing 650 Hp that makes it capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 Km/h in 3 seconds with a top speed exceeding 362 km/h (225 mph). The Skoda Fabia Super 2000 on the other hand, is powered by a 2.0-Liter four cylinder engine producing 265 Hp.

You might think that the Skoda Fabia, being a race car, is a much lighter machine but you’d be wrong! At 1,200 Kg, the two cars weight exactly the same. The RCZ has been called the French answer to the Audi TT and even though it isn’t sold here in the United States it’s interesting to see what Peugeot is up to over in Europe these days. Peugeot has made some updates to the RCZ and used the 2012 Paris Motor Show to unveil to the public what they have been working on. The car was shown with a newly redesigned front fascia with new intakes and LED running lights. The RCZ is a sports car that was first launched in 2010. It started life as a concept and due to being well received by the public and motoring press, the company decided to make it into a production car.

The RCZ has won the Top Gear “2010 Coupe of the Year” award and the Auto Express “2010 Special Design Award”.

Performance
The RCZ coupe can be powered by a total of four engines. The top level gasoline engine is a 1.6L four-cylinder that produces 200 horsepower and 202 lb-ft of torque. The top Level diesel is a 2.0L four-cylinder that produces 163 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. These engines are available with six-speed manual gearboxes.

The Volkswagen Golf GTI Cabriolet made its official debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. On June 22, 2012, Volkswagen made history by launching the first ever Golf GTI convertible. The sporty and compact Golf GTI will finally get an open top version. There are currently no plans for this Golf GTI Cabriolet to make it to the United States. The top is a electric hydraulic type that can be operated at speeds up to 19 mph. It takes 9.5 seconds to open and 11 seconds to close. The GTI’s interior comes with tartan-plaid fabric with leather being optional.

Performance
This GTI Cabriolet is powered by a direct injected, turbocharged, 2.0L four-cylinder that produces 207 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to your choice of a six-speed manual or six-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission. This open top GTI can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 7.3 seconds.
