| Nimoto Easy 2000 is an affordable Electric Scooter [Photo Gallery] Posted: 05 Dec 2012 04:25 AM PST Chrises Cars - Nimoto Easy 2000 is an affordable Electric Scooter [Photo Gallery] Affordable electric scooters are increasingly making their way to Europe and keeping in mind their demand, Spanish manufacturer Nimoto has unveiled a new electric scooter called the Easy 2000. The Nimoto Easy 2000 has a range of 50-80 km (31-49.7 miles) and it can be recharged almost anywhere. The vehicle will be available in two versions. One will come equipped with a standard lead-calcium battery, while the other with a Lithium one. The weight of the scooter is 130 kg (287 lbs), which includes the weight of the lead battery. While the Lithium version weighs just 101 kg (223 lbs). Both the versions can manage to reach up to 45 km/h (28 mph). Nimoto Easy 2000 standard costs you €1,999 ($2,600), while the Lithium version comes at a price tag of €2,799 ($3,646).

And now, rumor has it that the automaker is likely to unveil the Porsche Cayman Turbo with a four-cylinder engine very soon. The Cayman Turbo is likely to make its debut at the Frankfurt International Motor Show, which will take place in September 2013. Porsche will celebrate the 50 years of the 911 with the launch of the Cayman Turbo. According to reports, the car will have a 2.5-liter unit under the hood, which will churn out around 350 horsepower and a torque of about 500 Nm (369 lb-ft). The house belonged to a Chinese couple, who was asked to sell it under a government expropriation scheme, but they refused. It was because they thought the compensation was too low. The Chinese government had respect for their property and hence, the highway was created around the house, while it remained there in the middle of the road, with the owners refusing to move. Now the piece of news about the same house is that the house has finally been demolished as the couple has now accepted the compensation of 260,000 Chinese yuan ($41,000). However, for a building having five floors, the price is low, but the owners agreed. | Nissan unveils one-off Dark Knight Rises Juke Nismo Posted: 05 Dec 2012 04:24 AM PST Chrises Cars - Nissan unveils one-off Dark Knight Rises Juke Nismo Nissan has created a unique car, the one-off special edition of the Juke Nismo, to celebrate its partnership with Warner Bros and the launch of The Dark Night Rises on DVD and Blu-Ray on December 3. The Dark Night Rises is the third film in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. Nissan has decided to give away the Nismo crossover to one lucky winner. All you need to do is take Nissan’s Thrill Test to enter the contest to win the Juke. The contest is open until February end, and the winner will be announced in March. The Dark Night Rises Juke has been built around the sport-tuned Nismo model. It comes packed with a 197-horsepower, 1.6-lite turbocharged inline-four, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Jaguar XFR-S is one of the fastest, most powerful and buoyant sports saloon company has ever built. Jaguar XFR-S is powered with 5.0 Litre supercharged V8 Engine producing tremendous output of 550 horsepower with 502 pound-feet of torque-power. Steve Saleen made this declaration in a press meet. The latest vehicle will boast 700 horsepower and 655 fb-lb of torc. The innovative Mustang, which is going to be annunciated, will feature a striking list of specs and distinctive designs below the name Saleen 351 Mustang. AI Wagner, Vice President of engineering, stated that the objective of the plan was to build up a notable vehicle in the market.
The wheels given to the new offering are the Saleen 5 spoke alloy wheels. In addition, the latest Saleen 351 Mustang will also boast the customary Red Butterfly Center Ram Air Induction structure. | NHTSA gave five star safety rating to Buick Verano Posted: 05 Dec 2012 04:19 AM PST Chrises Cars - NHTSA gave five star safety rating to Buick Verano The celebrations are on the way as 2013 Buick Verano has grabbed five star overall safety rating after its first crash test by National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The car bagged 5 stars in the front and the rear crash test and a 4 out of 5 star in the rolling test. The result is quite similar with one of its closest competitor Acura ILX. Acura ILX also received an overall rating of 5 stars but it grabbed only 4 out of 5 stars in the frontal and rollover tests. General Motors has already put a lot of safety devices in Verano like ABS, Stabili Trak, 10 standard airbags, panic brake system and a collapsible pedal system. In the NHTSA tests they found that Verano’s chances of a rollover is about 11.3 percent and in case the rollover occurs General Motors has also provided for head curtain airbags that will be inflated to reduce any injury. The Verano’s 5 star rating does stand in the standard with the Buick lineup of safety ratings both from Insurance Institute of Highway Safety and NHTSA.
