| Andre Lotterer tops Sebring second practice, Audi 1-2-3 Posted: 15 Mar 2012 02:00 PM PDT Audi Sport’s Andre Lotterer took his turn at the front during this afternoons second practice session from Sebring. Lotterer nailed a 1:47.761 in the no1 Audi Sport Team Joest R18 TDI. He was a clear .478 seconds over teammate Timo Bernhard in the no3 R18. Dindo Capello lapped the Sebring circuit in a 1:49.202 to give Audi Sport a 1-2-3 in the end. Ferrari topped the GTE-Pro charts with BMW following. In GTE-Am Corvette was at the top. | Audi Sport’s Romain Dumas tops Sebring official first practice Posted: 15 Mar 2012 08:28 AM PDT The 2011-spec Audi R18 TDI’s have not disappointed here since testing started earlier this week. With the first official practice session kicking off at 10:00am today, Audi Sport Team Joest was off. At the end of the hour long practice, Romain Dumas was at the top, 1:48.626. However, sitting only 1.136 seconds back was Klaus Graf in the Muscle Milk HPD ARX-03a with a 1:49.762. The petrol cars are there and we all know that anything can happen in endurance racing. Scan back another 1.487 seconds and Marcel Fassler sat third in the no1 Audi Sport Team Joest R18 TDI with a 1:50.113. Rebellion Racing was next in fourth followed by the remaining Audi R18 TDI. Tom Kristensen reeled in a 5th place, 3 seconds back. In GT, Porsche sat outside of the top 3 spots. In GTE-Am, Paolo Ruberti in the no88 Team Felbermayr Proton's Porsche 911 GT3 RSR pulled up in second. Leh Keen in the no22 Alex Job Racing / WeatherTech Porsche set the fastest time in GT Challenge with a 2:07.308.
